New Discoveries

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
New Discoveries...a chance to show off some of the works of other Etsy shops that I find amazing. These are a few artists that I have stumbled upon recently, those that have earned a heart from me for their talents.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

This artist was pointed out to me this week by my friend, Jerise. She pegged Bluebird Hill as someone I would like not only because of her style, but because she offers ACEOs!!! I have since hearted several items in her shop. It astounds me the clarity, and yet softness, Bluebird achieves by using colored pencils. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!

I've had Creative with Clay in my favorites for awhile now. I am a big fan of textures, and I just love all the ones in this fabulous shop, inspired by Indian designs, fabrics, embroidery, colors and Bollywood. The colors of the pottery are fresh, too! There are so many unique one-of-a-kind pottery pieces in this shop that I would just love to own.

After much persuasion, this young man succumbed to creating ACEOs, much to the delight of all his wife's MMG threadmates and the rest of the art world. This is Quwwa's first attempt at creating art on a small scale...and WOW! What a magnificent job! His subjects tend not to be of the light and airy nature, but more the bitterness of reality, and what we as a society tend to ignore. By bringing these realities up in his artwork, he hopes to lend a hand to humanity.

First off, I have to share this ACEO purchase I made yesterday from
Jessica Doyle. Actually, it was one of two that I purchased, and there were several others that made my decision very difficult. I love Jessica's whimsical and colorful style.

My next New Discovery is MenagerieStudio. I have recently been on a pendant kick, I received a beautiful silver chain for Mother's Day and have been collecting different pendants that I can switch out for different outfits. I love all the textures and the beautiful golden hue of this Shabby Chic Heart pendant.

And finally, this is one great photographer! There is just something about the style of Amelia Kay Photography that speaks to me. I love swirls, have always been drawn to them, which is why I probably singled out this great image amongst the rest of her Amelia's beautiful work. A great perspective shot.

Let's Promote Etsy

If you are on Etsy for any length of time, you start collecting fellow Etsian business cards. I don't know about you, but I only need one from each person, and I duly put that in my special Etsy business card holder. But then I invariably order again from someone and I get more cards. Since I hate to just throw them away, I created the perfect solution.

Now I admit, this wasn't originally my idea, someone sent me one similar, but I thought well enough of the whole idea of promoting other Etsians, that I recreated this business card envelope, and now I'm sharing it with you so you can send your cards, as well as your "extras" in all of your orders. Simply follow the easy directions I've left at the bottom of this post. Enjoy!

Click on the envelopes above to enlarge. Right-click the image and save to your computer. Open up the file and print. It should be your typical letter-sized jpg. (8.5"x11). Once printed, cut out an envelope, fold in the sides and glue or tape together, then fold up the bottom and do the same. Wah-La!

Introducing PETITE Mini Notecards

This week, after several requests to make a smaller version of my popular 3" Mini Notecards, I am rolling out the new PETITE MINI NOTECARDS in a great 2" size. The new PETITE cards come as a set of 5 with coordinating envelopes, or you have the option to get ten cards without envelopes. I can even punch holes if you want to attach strings to make tags!

I am working on getting all my 3" designs listed in the new 2" PETITE size, and I have several already in my Etsy shop. Please visit the "Mini Notecards and Tags Section" for any of these designs and more. Or just click on the images to go right to that page in my shop.

The following set is something new. I've created a Variety Pack only available (right now anyway) in the new PETITE 2" size. They are 10 of my favorite designs and they come with 10 white hand-cut envelopes. ALSO: The Variety Pack featured below is one on my Weekly Blog Followers Specials. That means if you follow my blog, you can get this set for 10% off and FREE SHIPPING. Hurry though, because the specials change every Monday!
