My ACEO-X Submission

As many of you know, a bunch of friends have gotten together and started an ACEO exchange club. Once every month or two month, we make one ACEO and trade it with someone else in the group. I finished mine yesterday...what do ya think?

Interwoven Sunshine by Kat Wauters (aka H20works)

The sections were made using interwoven strips of oil pastel colors, and I created all the graphics and printed them out on premium glossy photo paper, cut the leaves and the whole orange out and affixed them to the rays of sunshine background. Then the cherry on the top of the cake, I added a great big golden rhinestone center. I hope my receiver will be happy with it!

Who will get this ACEO? Well, I know, but Amanda says I can't tell you until the names of the trading partners are revealed. She will have gathered all the pictures of all the ACEOs made for the trade and blog about them...who's got my name, which ACEO will I get? The suspense is killing me! This is just SO much fun!

Always Remember Summer

I listed this ACEO named "Always Remember Summer" yesterday and it was snatched up and purchased within 5 minutes! I was absolutely tickled pink! I gave her credit in my listing, but I just wanted to send out extra kudos to Psalm104Photography.Etsy.com for her permission to use "Rustic Beach Rocker" digital image.

When I saw this image, I just knew I had to use it somehow. If you have not been to this great Etsy shop, I encourage you to do so, Psalm has such an eye, and her images are amazing! :o)

ACEO-X

Just a reminder that the last day to sign up for this club is Sunday, July 12th.

A group of friends and I have formed an ACEO Swap. For those of you who do not know, an ACEO is a trading card sized piece of artwork. They can be made from any medium, I.E. paper, knit, clay, etc. The only rule is they have to be 2.5" x 3.5" in dimension. They are highly popular, and highly addictive. I've been making and collecting ACEOs for some time now.

For the swap, you will need to make one original ACEO and be willing to send it internationally. Ulixis has been kind enough to host the exchange, for all the rules and more details, please go to her blog, Ulixis Crafts blog. Happy creating!
